Lost In Random: The Eternal Die
Playtest Game Version
End User Licence Agreement
We are Thunderful Publishing AB, based in Kvarnbergsgatan 2 411 05 Gothenburg, Sweden (“We”, “Thunderful”). Thank you for taking part in the Lost In Random: The Eternal Die Playtest Game Version (the “Game”) on Steam. The Game is a build of an unreleased game and contains unreleased features. The Game is intended for playtesting purposes only.
Before playing there are a few rules you should be aware of (the “EULA”):
- The Game is currently in its playtest version so it will not be in a finished state – we’re doing playtests to test the Game’s features, capabilities and performance. So, don’t be surprised if the Game contains bugs, or might contain features that we remove later on. Importantly, the Game version you test may be updated between playtesting rounds and as a result your progress could be permanently deleted at any time! The Game is provided “as is” and we make no specific promises or representations in relation to it.
- Your feedback must only be shared within the closed forums we provide for playtesters which may include dedicated closed Thunderful run Discord or messaging channels, or via completion of playtesting surveys we provide you (“Closed Forums”). You must not share your feedback anywhere else. If you do provide feedback, we can freely use (or not use) any such feedback without any obligation or liability to you (financial or otherwise).
- Specifically, do not screen capture, record or take pictures of the Game and share the same on public channels like Reddit, X or anything else. You can only share in our Closed Forums. Take note that your personal Steam handle will be displayed onscreen in the Game so if you share screen captures or footage in our Closed Forums then your personal Steam Handle will be visible to other testers. Do not share any game code allocated to you in order to playtest the early version of the game.
- Please don’t do anything that could damage the Game or be harmful to other players or rightsholders – e.g. no hacking, reverse engineering, infringing third party rights, cheating or harmful, illegal or offensive conduct. If you break the rules in this EULA (or we have reasonable grounds to suspect you have broken the rules), then we may suspend or cancel your access to the Game without prior warning.
- We may make changes to this EULA – if we do, we will make reasonable efforts to update you about these changes. Please note, this EULA only applies to the demo for the Game.
- We only distribute the Game for private use. If you use the Game for any commercial, business or re-sale purposes, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profits or business. We are only responsible for loss or damage that is foreseeable where we fail to abide by this EULA.
- You and we agree that your use of the Game and this EULA (and any issues arising out of them) will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden, and any dispute regarding it will be under the jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden. This does not exclude any mandatorily applicable rules or remedies which would be available to you in a legal claim brought under the laws of your country of residence. We and you both agree to make reasonable and good faith efforts to resolve any dispute between us informally. Normally, we would suggest that this dispute resolution period lasts 30 days unless exceptional circumstances exist. You and we have the legal right to commence legal claims against each other if we consider it necessary.
- If you have any questions, concerns or feedback on the Game, please email us on: info@thunderfulgroup.com.
- We have the right to remove your access to the Game and or the related Discord channel and or any other social media channels run by us for any reason at any time.
